The Nintendo Super Bowl will be played in Canada on January 7, 2019
Nintendo has announced the first-ever Canadian Super Bowl matchup between the Canadian Football League (CFL) and the National Football League, kicking off at 2:00pm ET (9:00am PT).
The CFL and NFL will take place in the Canadian city of Toronto, Ontario, on January 8, 2019.
The game will feature a total of 15 Canadian teams from the CFL, CFLPA, CFL and the CFL and Canadian Football Association (CFA).
The first two-hour broadcast will feature highlights of all Canadian players, with the remainder of the games airing live on Fox Sports North.
For the first time, the game will be broadcast on a Canadian network.
Here are the Canadian teams in action, including a brief look at the current rosters.
NFL Toronto: Toronto Argonauts quarterback Jacoby Brissett (left) and Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Mike Babcock are the CFL’s and CFLPA’s Canadian players of the week.
They are expected to have a big impact in this season’s game.
Canadian Football Canada (CFC): The Canadian Football Confederation (CFFC), a league that has been involved in the CFL for more than a decade, is in charge of the league’s scheduling, with games taking place on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday nights.
This season’s schedule features the Buffalo Bills and Montreal Alouettes, while the Calgary Stampeders, Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Edmonton Eskimos are expected for a week-long break.
The league is currently hosting its first Super Bowl, in a game between the New England Patriots and Carolina Panthers.
Canadian Hockey League (CHL): The CHL’s season kicks off on January 20, 2019, with three games, including the Winnipeg Jets, Vancouver Canucks and Calgary Stamps in the West Division.
There are eight teams in the division, including four in the top-eight.
The final week of the regular season will see eight games, with six of them in the Western Conference.
Canadian Junior Hockey League: The Junior Hockey Association (JHL) has played in a two-game series against the Ontario Hockey League’s Bantam Hockey League since the first season in 1998.
The first meeting took place in 2001, the second in 2002, and the third in 2004.
The JHL will host the CFL game this year, with Ottawa Redblacks head coach Ken Hitchcock and Toronto Argonaut head coach Kent Austin both scheduled to be on the call.
The CFL season will begin in March, and will continue with the playoffs.
This year’s regular season is set to include two games, two of which are in the East.
Canadian Women’s Hockey League, Ontario: The Canadian Women of Hockey will be the CFL team in the Ontario Women’s League, a league based in Toronto, with teams playing each other in the Atlantic Division.
The last game will take a week to prepare.
The Toronto Argonets will be playing the B.C. Lions at the BMO Field.
The other game is set for Saturday, February 15.
Canadian Baseball League (BBL): The BBL’s season begins in March with a home-and-home series with the Ontario League’s Kingston Frontenacs.
The Jays will face the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, while Vancouver Whitecaps will host Toronto Argonels.
The B.L.A. is in the process of fielding its inaugural season in 2018, and this year’s schedule includes two games and two of them will be in the Central Division.
This game will also be broadcast live on FOX Sports North, which is a divisional rival of the CFL.
The AFL, which has the most regular season games of any professional sports league in North America, will host its first-round playoff game, against the Winnipeg Blue Jays, on Sunday, March 1.
The playoff will be hosted by the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Hockey Association.
Canadian Professional Hockey League(CPL): The CPL is the North American version of Major League Baseball’s American Football League.
This team is based in Winnipeg, and is expected to take part in a series of games this year that will include a playoff game in Winnipeg.
The Winnipeg Blue Bomber will take on the Toronto Argonx in the first game of the series.
The second game is expected on March 7.
The third game is slated for Sunday, May 31.
