Texas, Notre Dame and Clemson in College Football Championship game

WASHINGTON — The first-ever College Football Playoff semifinal will take place Dec. 10 at 7 p.m.

ET, as the winner of the two-game conference title game takes on the winner in the two semifinal games of the championship game.

The College Football playoff bracket is being released in advance of the semifinal, which will take places at 8 p..m., Dec. 11, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, the day before the national championship game, and will be announced live on NBCSN.

The conference championship will take the field on Dec. 12, with the national title game on Dec: 12 at 8:30 p.g.

The College Football title game will be played at 8p.m.(All times Eastern.)

College Football title games have been played in Arlington since the 1940s, and they are scheduled for December 16-19.
