Ohio State loses to Clemson, 4-0
Ohio State beat Clemson, 38-24, to earn a berth in the College Football Playoff.
The Buckeyes finished the game tied for second place in the conference, and are now tied for fourth.

Ohio State is also on the cusp of being in the playoff.
The school has played eight games in the last nine months, and the Buckeye program has been in the FCS playoffs for just three of those games.
The Buckeyes will face Clemson in the Orange Bowl, which is slated for Dec. 27.
Clemson is coming off an 11-3 season and will be playing the first game of the bowl.
The Orange Bowl is one of the more prestigious events in college football.
The winner of the Orange, Fiesta or Sugar bowls will be eligible for the BCS national championship.
The BCS is the most prestigious in college sports.
It is the system that provides a national ranking to all teams, teams that are not ranked in the AP Poll, and all teams in the same division.
It also determines the national champion.
Ohio State is not on the BCA because of the loss in the Rose Bowl.
